A straightforward process designed for working professionals. No bureaucratic delays.

The Application Process

Create Your Account

Register your organization on the CEAS Provider Portal. You’ll receive immediate access to submit applications, upload documentation, and track your status in real time.

Submit Organization Application

Provide your organization details, state licensing information, and operational documentation. The $1,000 application fee covers the full initial review.

Required documentation: State EMS license/permit, organizational charter or articles, proof of insurance, instructor roster with credentials, clinical agreement documentation (if applicable).

Submit Course Applications

For each course you want accredited, submit the course syllabus, learning objectives, content outline, assessment methodology, and contact hour calculation. $200 per course.

Course types eligible: EMR, EMT, AEMT, Paramedic refresher/CE, specialty CE (PHTLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.), bridge programs, and any NCCP-aligned continuing education.

Review & Feedback

Our review team evaluates your submission against the 12 CEAS Standards. If any items need attention, you’ll receive specific, actionable feedback — not vague rejection letters. Most reviews are completed within 14 business days.

Accreditation Granted

Once approved, your organization and courses are listed in the CEAS public registry. You’ll receive accreditation certificates, digital badges, and API access for automated completion reporting.
